Biography

Dave Armstrong, born in Canada in 1979, is a Canadian record producer and DJ who emerged from the local electronic scene. He began his career with early singles such as "Prime Kutz" (2002) and "Make Your Move" (2003), establishing a foundation in dance and electronic music. In 2004 he released the single "Out Of Touch", followed by the EP Love Has Gone (feat. H‑Boogie) in 2007, which featured a collaboration with Redroche and reached a Number 1 position on the UK Dance Chart in January 2008 while reaching number 43 on the official UK singles chart. The single "Makin' Me Hot" (2005) and "Make Your Move Part 2" (2009) added to his growing catalog. In 2011 he issued the compilation Make Your Move (mcd) on February 14, further consolidating his presence in the genre. Armstrong’s work is characterized by its rhythmic energy and club appeal, and his releases have been distributed through prominent labels such as Hed Kandi. His chart success in the UK and continued output have cemented his status as a notable figure within contemporary dance music.
