Biography
Niklas Worgt, born February 8, 1978 in Bad Frankenhausen, DDR, is a German electronic music producer, DJ, and label owner known by the pseudonym Dapayk. He began performing in the early 1990s with drum-and-bass acts, which include Frauds in White and Sonstware. In 2000, he founded the label Mo's Ferry Productions to release minimal techno. He released the EP TPZ EP and the single âHeimwehâ. His solo debut album, Impulsion Parasite (2006), was followed by Devil's House (2008), #nofilter (2015), and Chemical Handshake (2025). As the duo Dapayk & Padberg, formed with his wife Eva Padberg whom he married on July 29, 2006, the pair released the debut album Close Up (2005). The album entered the top 10 of the Groove and de:Bug charts, and the project received a StyleAward from Musikexpress in 2007. After closing Mo's Ferry Productions at the end of 2020, he established the platform Sonderling Records and its sublabels, which include Rohling and Fruehling, to issue experimental works.
