Biography

Daniel Ellsworth & The Great Lakes is an American indie rock band formed in Nashville, Tennessee. The group consists of Daniel Ellsworth (vocals, keys), Timon Lance (guitar), and Marshall Skinner (bass). They released their debut album Civilized Man in 2011, which included the single "Shoe Fits" and peaked at number 18 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart. In 2014, the band recorded Kid Tiger and Bemidji during the same session, both produced by Vance Powell. In 2018, they released the EPs Chapter One and Chapter Two, followed by the album Fashion later that year. In 2023, they announced their forthcoming album High Life, initially set for release on February 16, 2024, with the lead single "High Life" released in October 2023.
