Biography

Danger Danger, an American glam metal band, was formed in Queens, New York, in 1986. The original lineup included bassist Bruno Ravel and drummer Steve West, along with lead vocalist Mike Pont and guitarist Al Pitrelli. After several lineup changes, including the addition of keyboardist Kasey Smith and the departure of Pont, Ted Poley became the band's lead vocalist. In 1989, they released their debut album Danger Danger, which featured the hit singles "Naughty Naughty" and "Bang Bang". The former gained a spot in MTV's Headbangers Ball. The band went on to release several albums, including Screw It! (1991) with hits like "Monkey Business" and "I Still Think About You", and Revolve (2009). Throughout their career, Danger Danger toured extensively, opening for acts such as KISS and Alice Cooper. Notable lineup changes included the addition of guitarist Andy Timmons in 1989 and the return of Poley in 2004. The band faced legal issues that prevented the release of their third album Cockroach until 2001, when it was finally released featuring two versions: one with Paul Laine on vocals and another with Ted Poley. Danger Danger's music has been featured in various media, including the Tim Allen movie The Santa Clause 2, which included their song "Naughty Naughty Christmas".
