Damhnait Doyle, born on December 9, 1975, in Canada, is a singer and composer. She released her debut album Shadows Wake Me in 1996, which included the lead single "A List of Things" and earned a Juno Award nomination along with several East Coast Music Award nominations. Doyle toured Canada with Steve Earle in support of his album I Feel Alright. Her follow-up album, Hyperdramatic (2000), featured the single "Tattooed," which was nominated for Video of the Year at the East Coast Music Awards. In 2001, Doyle won four ECMAs, including Video of the Year and Female Artist of the Year. Her third album, Davnet (2003), included the single "Another California Song." She released Lights Down Low in 2008.
