Dalia Friedland, born on February 13, 1935 in Tel-Aviv, Israel, was an actress and singer. Born to actors Zvi Friedland and Chana Hendler, founders of the Habima National Theater, she completed two years of military service before pursuing drama studies at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London alongside Judi Dench and Vanessa Redgrave. Upon returning to Israel, Friedland joined the Habima Theatre company, making her debut in Night Storm. She appeared in numerous plays, including "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf," "Long Day's Journey Into Night," and "The Seagull." In addition to her acting career, Dalia Friedland is known for her children's music performances and recordings, such as "Shmulik-Hedgehog" and "Shubi the Teddy Bear." She also co-wrote and performed in several notable plays, including If I Forget Thee Oh Jerusalem, which was performed at the United Nations.
