Biography

Cyndi Thomson is an American country musician who first shot to fame in 2001 with the release of her debut album 'My World'. Beginning by singing with her sisters in church, Thomson performed at talent shows across her home town before ending up in Nashville in search of success. After studying music business at university, she met songwriter Tommy Lee James and began collaborating. She then signed a deal with Capitol Nashville, releasing number one single 'What I Really Meant to Say'. After her debut album was certified Gold, Thomson dropped a bombshell in October 2002 when she announced that she was quitting music due to personal reasons. Thomson didn't disappear completely, however, contributing songs and vocals on a couple of Christmas country albums before releasing her first album in eight years in 2009, in the form of five-track EP 'This Time'. She now splits her time between performing, public speaking, writing and designing.
