Cumbia Pedregal are a Mexican cumbia band formed by the brothers Emilio Zepeda Cabrera, José Pablo Zepeda Cabrera, and Luis Eduardo âLucheâ Zepeda Cabrera, grandchildren of the legendary actress and singer MarÃa Victoria and sons of music director Rubén Zepeda. Growing up surrounded by music, the brothers began performing together in 2019, developing a style that merges classic romantic cumbia with modern Latin pop sensibilities. Their early digital releases, including âLa Cosecha de Mujeresâ (2019) and âDame un Besitoâ (2021), established them on regional playlists, while a series of 2023 singlesâamong them cumbia versions of âElla Baila Sola,â âTacones Rojos,â and âNo Se Vaââhelped expand their online audience. In 2024 they released 8 Canciones, a small collection signaling a transition from covers to original compositions. The groupâs breakout moment arrived in 2025 with a trio of singlesââDe Gritar Te Amo,â âQue Se Pudra el Amor,â and âTu Nunca Lo Sabrás (Versión Cumbia)â featuring Daphne Michelleâwhich gained traction on streaming platforms and solidified their presence within Mexicoâs new-generation cumbia scene.
