Code Red, a British boy band formed in 1994, consisted of Roger Ratajczak, Phillip Rodell, Neil Watts and Lee Missen. They were discovered by producer Nicky Graham and later signed to Polydor Records. Their breakthrough came with the release of their debut single âI Gave You Everythingâ in 1996, which they performed at the Great British Song Contest, finishing as runners-up. This success led to their 1997 debut album Scarlet, which included singles such as âCan We Talkâ, âThis Is Our Songâ and âIs There Someone Out There?â. The band achieved notable popularity in South East Asia, winning Best New Pop Act at the 1997 Channel V Music Awards, and further expanded their international presence through their duet with Asha Bhosle on âWe Can Make Itâ. Code Red later released the albums Missinâ You Already(1999) and Crimson (2001), featuring singles including âWhat Would You Do Ifâ¦?â. The band disbanded in 2001.
