Biography

She Moves is an American pop trio consisting of Carla Duren, Diana Bologna and Danielle Flora. The group formed in 1997 by German producers the Berman Brothers after meeting as former dancers for the New York Knicks. Danielle had previously worked as a background dancer on MTV's The Grind, while Diana had danced in music videos for Salt N Pepa, Lil' Kim, and Missy Elliott. The trio's breakthrough came with their debut single "Breaking All The Rules", released in the summer of 1997, which peaked at number 32 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their self-titled debut album Breaking All The Rules was released later that year on November 18. Despite moderate success with their lead single, the group struggled to gain traction and was dropped from Geffen Records in 1999 following a lack of momentum. Notable singles include "It's Your Love", a remake of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s country hit, and "Just for Tonight", which became a minor hit in Sweden.
