Clearlight is a French progressive rock band originating from Paris, formed in 1973 by keyboardist Cyrille Verdeaux. Their debut album, Clearlight Symphony (1975), released under Virgin Records, garnered critical acclaim both nationally and internationally. In the following years, they released several notable albums including Forever Blowing Bubbles (1975) and Les Contes du Singe Fou (1976), which featured collaborations with prominent musicians such as Didier Malherbe and Didier Lockwood. Verdeaux later pursued a solo career under his own name, releasing albums like Moebius (1981) and Piano for the Third Ear (1983). Clearlight also released the album Visions (1978). They collaborated with various artists, including Gunnar Amundson on the album In Your Hands (1994), and Don Falcone under the name Spirits Burning for releases like Healthy Music In Large Doses (2012) and The Roadmap in Your Head (2016).
