Emily Claire Guerreso, known professionally as Claire Guerreso, was born on September 19, 1983, in Boulder, Colorado. She is an American singer and songwriter who initially gained recognition through her music featured on TV shows, films, ads, and promos. In 2008, Guerreso formed the group The Little Bear and released several albums under Infinity Cat Recordings. By 2013, she began releasing music independently, including songs featured in prominent television series such as ABC's Grey's Anatomy and CBSâs Nancy Drew. Her song "Good Night" was recorded by Billy Currington for his album Summer Forever in 2015. In 2016, she released the single "Skipping Stones" on Ultra Records, which gained significant online buzz and charted on iTunes Alternative Song Chart and Shazam's Future Hits Chart.
