Biography

The American electropop singer Margaret "Maggie" Eckford, better known by her stage name Ruelle, was born in Mississippi on November 21, 1985. She released her first two albums For What It's Worth (2010) and Show and Tell (2012) under her birth name Maggie Eckford, only releasing her later albums Madness (2016) and Emerge (2018) as Ruelle. Because some of her songs are placed in TV series such as Grey's Anatomy and commercials such as the Japanese iPad advertisement, she becomes known to a wide audience. Her track "Game of Survival " (2016), for example, is used in the trailer for 13 Reasons Why, while the trailer for DC Universe's Titans series released in July 2018 includes "Madness", "Monsters" and "Revolution". a new single by Ruelle, "Walking On The Moon", will be released in 2022.
