Biography
Half of the OutKast duo with André 3000 and a member of the Dungeon Family, André Patton aka Big Boi cut his teeth with Missy Elliott, Jay-Z and Beyoncé before launching his solo career in 2005. Building on the success of "Kryptonite (I'm On It)" and the album Got Purp? Vol. 2 , the Georgian rapper diversified his activities through stage and film(Idlewild in 2006). In 2009, he recorded his second album, Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty. The following year, Big Boi takes part in the musical Freaknik. In 2012, Big Boi surrounded himself with a host of guests for Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, including Kelly Rowland, Kid Cudi and Theophilus London.
