Biography
Jens Eric Resch Thomason, known professionally as Chords, was born on August 12, 1978, in Helsingborg, Sweden. He is a Swedish musician and singer who began his career with the release of his first single "Urinall Disses" in 2001. Initially signed to Timbuktu's label JuJu Records, Chords gained national fame through collaborations of his group Helt Off with Timbuktu, contributing to the title track for the Swedish film Babylonsjukan. His debut album, The Garden Around the Mansion, was released in 2003. Throughout his career, Chords has released several notable albums including Looped State of Mind (2012) and Poisson Noir_sans bars (2020). He also owns his own studio and label called Svart Lax.
