Biography

The Lordz, originally known as The Verrazano Boys and later as Lordz of Brooklyn, were an American hip hop group from New York. Formed in 1989 by brothers Michael McLeer (Kaves) and Adam McLeer (ADMoney), the group released their debut album All in the Family in 1995, which received favorable reviews and established them as a well-known underground group. Their first single, "Saturday Night Fever", became an underground success among graffiti writers. In 2003, they released Graffiti Roc, featuring collaborations with Busta Rhymes and Korn. The Lordz rebranded to "The Lordz" in 2006 for the release of The Brooklyn Way. They also had a reality TV show by the same name in 2008. In 2018, they returned to their original name and released Family Reunion in 2020, marking a return to their hip-hop origins.
