Biography
Chelsea Grin are an American deathcore band from Salt Lake City, Utah, that formed in 2007. The group was originally established under the name Ahaziah by vocalist Alex Koehler and guitarist Chris Kilbourn. They released their debut eponymous EP, Chelsea Grin, (2008) followed by the studio album Desolation of Eden (2010), which reached number 21 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Their discography includes the recordings My Damnation (2011), the EP Evolve (2012), and the album Ashes to Ashes (2014), the latter of which reached number 27 on the Billboard 200. Following the departure of Koehler in 2018, Tom Barber became the lead vocalist for the album Eternal Nightmare (2018). The ensemble subsequently released the double album Suffer in Hell (2022) and Suffer in Heaven (2023). Despite numerous lineup changes, the bassist David Flinn has been the only constant member across all the group's studio albums.
