Blue-haired, Texas-raised Gen Z star Charlotte Sands (born on August 9th, 1996) never foresaw a viral hit when she posted her song "Dress" to TikTok in late 2020, but that's exactly what happened. Penned in response to the criticism surrounding Harry Stylesâs dress-sporting Vogue cover, the track exploded online, touted as a paean to gender nonconformity and one that helped to put Charlotte Sands on the map. Her Special EP parked up a year later, featuring the rocky title track as well highlights including "Sweatshirt" and "Dream About You". 2021 also marked the release of several non-album singles, including "Bad Day" and pop-punk fireball, "Every Guy Ever". In 2022, she upped the punk energy levels to team up with The Maine and Taking Back Sunday for "Loved You A Little".
