Biography

Charlotte Julian is a French singer and actress born on January 12, 1951 in Perpignan (Pyrénées-Orientales). After appearing on Mireille's TV show Le Petit Conservatoire in 1970, Charlotte Julian made a name for herself in 1972 with the song "Fleur de province", which she performed on TV in clogs. Her humorous French variété style earned her other hits such as "Tout le monde à la campagne" (1973), "Zoubida" (1978), "Tu me pompes l'air" (1986) and "Va t'faire cuire un oeuf" (1990), a duet with Patrick Topaloff. A painter in her later years, Charlotte Julian returned to the stage in 2011 for the concert series Âge Tendre, la tournée des idoles.
