Celloman, born as Ivan Hussey, is a British cellist. His musical career began at age 17 when he joined the Reggae Philharmonic Orchestra, appearing on two albums and touring Japan, Jamaica, and Europe. As a session musician, Ivan Hussey played cello for artists such as Take That, Jay Z, and Mick Jagger, and toured with Duran Duran and Gabrielle in 1993 and 1994 respectively. In 2001, Ivan Hussey released his debut album Aquador under the name Celloman on his independent label Jambila Music. Over the years, he continued to release albums including Maya (2002), It's All An Illusion (2003), and Sharptown (2009). Celloman has performed at major festivals such as Glastonbury and WOMAD, and has also collaborated with a wide range of artists including Bebel Gilberto, Leona Lewis, and Natacha Atlas. In 2019, he joined Snow Patrol on their UK Reworked tour.
