Bi-ray is a Japanese girl group. It was born from "stellachord," a project to discover and nurture artists aiming for global expansion. The producer is YOSHIKI of X JAPAN, and the members were carefully selected under his supervision, and the group will be fully launched in 2025. The members are Cocomi (Shinmi Shimazu, born July 22, 2010 in Kanagawa Prefecture), Michelle (Mika Chuma, born April 27, 2011 in Tokyo), Emi (Emi Kumamoto, born January 23, 2009 in Kyoto Prefecture), and Hinata (Yohoi Kumanohoso, born August 4, 2009 In April 2025, "Japanese Heritage Night" will be held at the official MLB game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Miami Marlins at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California, and "Bi-ray" will perform the U.S. national anthem "The Star-Spangled Banner. The debut song "Butterfly", released on June 20, 2025, was a rock ballad written by YOSHIKI for the Hollywood movie "BRIDE HARD" (starring Rebel Wilson).
