Biography

Cauterize, a punk pop band from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, was formed in 1995 under the initial name T.O.E. The group released their first album Take Off Eh! in 1999 and followed it with The Moment I Cauterize in 2001. In 2003, they changed their name to Cauterize and released So Far From Real, which included the singles "Choke" and "Killing Me," both featured in the video game 1080° Avalanche. The band toured with acts such as Hoobastank and Evanescence. In 2005, Chuck Coles joined as a third guitarist, and they released Paper Wings under their own label. They later signed with High 4 Records and re-released the album with additional tracks. Their final album, Disguises, was released in 2007, marking the year of their disbandment.
