Kira Kosarin (born October 7, 1997 in New Jersey), is an American singer and actress. Inheriting her love of the performing arts from her parents, who performed and directed on Broadway, Kosarin studied ballet, singing and acting in Boca Raton, Florida, moving to Los Angeles, California in 2011, making her debut in Shake it Up (sitcom) before accepting the role as Phoebe Thunderman on Nickelodeon show The Thundermans (series) where she was nominated for a Kids’ Choice Award in 2015, and starring in One Crazy Cruise (movie), premiering on June 29, 2015. Turning her attention to music, Kosarin released her debut single “Spy” on March 16, 2018, followed by “Vinyl” on January 11, 2019, releasing her debut album Off Brand on April 10, 2019. Accepting a role in the second season of horror series Light as a Feather (series), Kosarin cancelled her headline tour due to scheduling conflicts, however continued to work on musical projects, collaborating with DJ Carneyval in November, 2019 on her next single “Simple” followed by her EP Songbird on July 15, 2020. In 2022, Kosarin was signed to Republic Records, releasing her major-label debut single “Mood Ring” on March 11, 2022.
