Biography
Buried in Verona was an Australian metalcore band from Sydney, formed in 2007 by vocalist Brett Anderson, guitarists Mick Taylor and Katongo Chituta, bassist Scott Richmond, and drummer Steve Rogers. The band released their debut album Circle the Dead in 2008 following a series of local performances. After lineup changes and the release of their second album Saturday Night Sever (2010), Buried in Verona gained significant traction, touring with international acts such as Whitechapel and Soilwork. Their third album, Notorious, was released in 2012 and debuted at number 20 on the ARIA Music Charts, earning a nomination for Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album at the ARIA Music Awards. The band's final studio album, Faceless, was released in 2014. Buried in Verona disbanded in 2016 following an announcement by their record label UNFD.
