Biography

Buffy "Buf" Lawson, born in Lexington, Kentucky, is an American country music singer who began performing at a young age. She moved to Nashville after high school, initially singing demos for songwriters before forming the duo Bomshel with Kristy Osmunson in 2004. Signed to Curb Records, their first single "Country Music Love Song" was released in early 2006. Lawson left Bomshel in December 2007 and released her debut solo album I'm Leaving You for Me in 2012 under Wrinkled Records. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with notable artists such as Neil Diamond and Dolly Parton.
