Bryndle was an American folk-rock band formed in late 1960s Los Angeles. The original lineup included singer-songwriters Karla Bonoff, Kenny Edwards, Andrew Gold, and Wendy Waldman. In 1970, they recorded sessions for A&M Records, but their debut album never materialized. Only "Woke Up This Morning" by Bonoff was released as a single. The band disbanded shortly after. In the early 1990s, Bryndle reformed and released their debut album Bryndle in 1995, followed by a tour of the US and Japan. Gold left the band in 1996, and they continued as a trio until releasing their second album, House of Silence, in 2002. The band became inactive following its release. Edwards died in August 2010 at age 64, followed by Gold in June 2011 at age 59.
