Biography

Blending soulful vocal harmonies with minimalist electronica and a dash of R&B, London-based folk artist Bruno Major (born on July 15, 1988) first rose to prominence in the mid-2010s with his one-song-a-month project. A classically-trained guitarist, he took his first steps as a jazz studio musician during his teenage years before relocating to London in 2011. Live, his debut EP, saw the light in 2014 and was followed by a series of monthly singles that resulted in his 2017 studio debut A Song for Every Moon. Propelled by the hit single “Easily,” which was certified gold in North America, the LP quickly accumulated over 400 million collective streams. Thanks to the album’s word-of-mouth success, Major was soon headlining his own UK tours and opening for established acts like Sam Smith and Lianne LaHavas. In 2018, he had first US music festival appearance at the Bonnaroo Music Festival and embarked on his first Asian tour ever. Preceded by a handful of singles released between 2019 and 2020, sophomore effort To Let a Good Thing Die (2020) kept the momentum going as it garnered praises from both major media outlets and tastemaker blogs alike.
