Biography

Briana Alexa Martinez, known professionally as Brika, is an American singer-songwriter who began her musical journey by teaching herself to play the piano and write songs at a young age. Brika's career took off when she met producer Julio Reyes Copello through his son Alejandro Reyes. In 2013, Brika signed with Reyes Copello's label and released her breakout single "Expectations", which achieved notable success and was included in Hype Machine's Zeitgeist Most Blogged and Favorited Tracks of 2014. Brika's debut album Voice Memos was released on December 16, 2014, featuring a collaboration with rapper Bogart on the track "Go".
