Boys II Planet (보이즈 2 플래닛) is an upcoming 2025 Mnet survival show and the spiritual sequel to Girls Planet 999and Boys Planet. Originally announced under the working title Planet B, the program was designed to run two parallel versions—Planet K (Korean) and Planet C (Chinese)—before ultimately merging both narratives into a single storyline leading to the debut of one global K-pop boy group. Set against a futuristic, space-themed concept, Boys II Planet features a star-studded lineup of masters including Lim Han Byul, Hyolyn, Justhis, and Kim Jae Joong, among others. The program will begin airing on July 17, 2025 (Planet K) and July 18, 2025 (Planet C), with contestants initially selecting their preferred track before converging in later episodes. After multiple rounds of global auditions, the final group will consist of eight members, with a five-year contract period—significantly longer than the 2.5-year term from Boys Planet. The show's theme song is titled "Hola Solar", and the pre-debut promotions already began with teaser content revealed during the 2024 MAMA Awards.
