Liam Duncan, known as Boyâ¯Golden, was born on 12â¯Mayâ¯1992 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and is a Canadian country singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He debuted as Boyâ¯Golden with the album Churchâ¯ofâ¯Betterâ¯Daze in 2021, followed by Forâ¯Jimmy in 2023 and Forâ¯Eden in 2024, each supported by North American tours. The single "Suffer" from Bestâ¯ofâ¯Ourâ¯Possibleâ¯Lives topped the Billboard Canada Modern Rock Airplay chart in Decemberâ¯2025. Boyâ¯Golden received a 2023 Canadian Folk Music Award nomination for Contemporary Singer of the Year and won the 2025 Contemporary Album of the Year award for Forâ¯Jimmy; Forâ¯Eden earned a 2025 Juno nomination for Contemporary Roots Album of the Year.
