Biography

Jesse Hughes is one of those eccentrics who have always been serious about rock. Nicknamed The Devil by his childhood friend Josh Homme, with whom he formed Eagles of Death Metal in 1998, Jesse Hughes also goes by the nickname Boots Electric. It's under this name that he appears on the 2011 album Honkey Kong. Wearing an Indian chief's headdress, briefs and socks, Boots Electric gives free rein to his fantasy, more in his visual appearance than in his chaotic music.
