Bluejuice was an Australian indie-rock band based in Sydney, formed in 2000. The group's final lineup consisted of co-lead vocalists Jake Stone and Stavros Yiannoukas, bassist Jamie Cibej, and drummer James Hauptmann. Bluejuice released their debut extended play Zebraaazz in November 2003, which was followed by The Good Luck Pig in March 2005. In 2007, the band released their first studio album Problems, featuring the single "Vitriol", which reached Number 11 on Triple J's Hottest 100 countdown. Bluejuice signed to Dew Process in 2009 and released their second studio album Head of the Hawk that same year, debuting at Number 37 on the Australian Albums Chart. The lead single "Broken Leg" peaked at Number 27 on the Australian Singles Chart and was certified gold. In October 2011, Bluejuice released their third studio album Company, which included the singles "Act Yr Age", "On My Own", and "The Recession". The band announced their dissolution in August 2014, releasing a greatest hits album titled Retrospectable in September of that year. Following their breakup, former members pursued solo careers; notably, Jake Stone released his first single under his own name, "Trick of the Light", in November 2016. In October 2022, Bluejuice announced a reformation with the release of an EP titled Jelly and a vinyl re-release of their 2011 studio album Company.
