Biography

Božidar "Boki" Milošević, born on December 31, 1931, in Prokuplje, Kingdom of Yugoslavia, was a Serbian clarinetist. He completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in classical music at the Academy of Music in Belgrade under Bruno Brun. Milošević's career mostly focused on folk music, becoming a member of the Association of Musical Artists of Serbia and serving as the 2nd clarinetist of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra. From 1960 to 1968, he taught clarinet at the Josip Slavenski School of Music in Belgrade. He released several albums throughout his career, including Od Coceka Do Mocarta (1994) and The Art Of Boki Milošević (2003). His son, Milan Milošević, is also a clarinetist. Božidar "Boki" Milošević passed away on April 15, 2018, in Belgrade at the age of 86.
