BLSG (short for Bunrisugeo, meaning "Recycling") is a South Korean four-member indie rock band under Soundbox Music Label (Samu Label). The group, consisting of Kim Seok Hyun (vocalist), Yeom Manje (guitarist), Choi Hyun Su (bassist), and Choi Hyun Seok (drummer), made their official debut on April 21, 2014. The band's unique name reflects their mission—to "separate and collect" the worries and burdens of their audience through music. Known for their energetic performances that blend fun stage presence with solid rock instrumentation, BLSG has built a strong reputation in Korea’s indie scene. For over eight years, they’ve been active in live concerts and busking, especially contributing to the development of the street music culture in Hongdae's Walkable Street. Their shows often include spontaneous songs made from audience stories, emphasizing real-time interaction and emotional connection. With over 20 singles released, including standout tracks like "핸드폰바보" (2014), "오늘밤에" (2014), and "스타나이트" (2020), BLSG continues to engage fans with music that’s both entertaining and heartfelt. Their latest single, "Say Your Name", dropped in January 2025, continuing their legacy as a band that listens, responds, and rocks the stage.
