Bloodlet, an American metalcore band from Orlando, Florida, formed in 1992. The group began their career by releasing a demo tape and several 7-inch singles, including Husk and Shell, before signing with Victory Records. Their debut album, Entheogen, was released in March 1996. After extensive touring, Bloodlet issued their second album, The Seraphim Fall, in March 1998, followed by a hiatus. The band reunited in 2001 and released their third album, Three Humid Nights In The Cypress Trees, engineered by Steve Albini at Electrical Audio recording studio. A music video was produced for "Holy Rollin Homicide". Bloodlet disbanded again in 2003. Notable releases include a double-LP reissue of Entheogen and a limited edition live album, both issued by A389 Recordings in 2014. The band has since reformed for special performances and tours.
