Biography

William Harley, born July 1, 1954 in Indianapolis, Indiana is an American children's entertainer, musician, and author. He began his career as a singer and storyteller while studying at Hamilton College in 1975. William Harley's early albums include Dinosaurs Never Say Please (1987) and Cool in School: Tales from the 6th Grade (1987). Subsequent releases include Grownups are Strange (1990), Lunchroom Tales: A Natural History of the Cafetorium (1996), and One More Time (2005). William Harley has won two Grammy Awards for Best Spoken Word Album for Children, in 2007 for Blah Blah Blah: Stories About Clams, Swamp Monsters, Pirates & Dogs, and in 2009 for Yes to Running! Bill Harley Live.
