Bijelo Dugme, a Yugoslav rock band, was formed in Sarajevo, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia in 1974. Their default lineup included Goran BregoviÄ on guitar, Željko Bebek as vocalist, Ipe IvandiÄ on drums, Vlado PravdiÄ on keyboards, and Zoran RedžiÄ on bass. Their debut album Kad bi' bio bijelo dugme (1974) brought them nationwide popularity with its Balkan folk-influenced hard rock sound. Subsequent releases like Bitanga i princeza (1979) maintained their success. In the early 1980s, they transitioned to a new wave sound, releasing albums like Doživjeti stotu (1980). After Bebek's departure in 1984, Mladen VojiÄiÄ Tifa and Alen IslamoviÄ joined as vocalists for later albums. They disbanded in 1989. They reunited in 2005 for concerts in Sarajevo, Zagreb, and Belgrade, and again in 2024 for a 50th-anniversary tour.
