Real name Yaven Mannie Mauldin, born August 2, 2000 in Birmingham, Alabama, Big Yavo is a rapper from the American South. Initially known under the pseudonym 41st Yavo in reference to his street, before adopting the name Big Yavo in early 2020, he debuted in 2019 by publishing his songs on his video channel, then signed with the Cinematic Music Group label, releasing several mixtapes from 2020 such as On God, Gorilla Warfare (with Luh Soldier) and Dumb Ass. His track "Rich" goes viral in 2021, followed by "Him", propelling his Like Yay project up the charts and into Billboard's Heatseekers. Between 2022 and 2024, he released a string of albums - The Largest (with featurings by Bankroll Freddie, Rylo Rodriguez, TLE Cinco), Proof, then The Giant - all the while making a name for himself with his dense, energetic vocal style. In 2025, Big Yavo signed the Dingers album.
