Superstar Pride - born Cadarrius Pride on May 15, 2002, in Sardis, Mississippi â is a rapper and singer best known for âPainting Pictures,â a track taken from his 2022 EP 5lbs of Pressure. Interested in music at a young age, he played both basketball and football while attending high school. He continued to play football when he attended Mississippi Delta Community College, where he also began his rapping career. He set up several social media accounts where he began to release some of his recordings including âSoicychallengeâ (2021). In 2022, he came to prominence with the release of the EP 5lbs of Pressure, which included the single âPainting Pictures.â While the EP earned him a lot of attention, the single became a hit and hit Number 16 on Billboardâs Hot Rap Songs chart as well as Number 55 on the Hot R&B / Hip-Hop Songs chart and Number 99 on the Hot 100. In a very short time, he was able to gain millions of listeners and viewers on his various social media accounts. Superstar Pride released several singles in early 2023 including âFreeWop,â âFullCourtPressure,â âWhatâs Next,â and a reissue of âPainting Pictures.â
