Biography
Ben Ransom is a country music artist from Sydney, Australia. He began writing songs on the guitar at age 15 and lived in London before returning to Australia to pursue a career in music. The Long Way, his studio debut, appeared in 2020 and spawned the single "Bourbon & Sunsets," which peaked at Number 2 on the Hot Country Top 50 chart. In 2011, Ben Ransom received three nominations for the Australian Independent Artists Development Awards. After becoming a graduate of the CMAA Academy of Country Music in 2012, he returned a year later with the album Slow Burn. Following the release of the live album Ben Ransom Live (2015), the singer signed with Country Rocks and scored his first Number 1 single with "Let's Go Driving," included in his 2018 full-length 101. Brave New World, his fourth album, arrived in 2021 and climbed to Number 3 on the ARIA charts. In 2022, his single "Livin'" went to Number 51 on the Australian Top 100.
