Biography
Andrew Swift is an Australian country music singer and guitarist who began his career playing in Race the Frey, a Melbourne indie/pop-punk band. He later fronted Andrew Swift & the Rattlesnake Choir before releasing his debut solo album Andrew Swift in 2015. In January 2017, he became a finalist in the Toyota Starmaker competition and signed to Social Family Records. His first release under this label was Call Out for the Cavalry, which topped the ARIA Country Albums Chart in March 2018. At the 2019 Country Music Awards of Australia, Swift won Qantas New Talent of the Year and Alternative Country Album of the Year. He signed to ABC Music in June 2020 and released his third studio album The Art of Letting Go in June 2021. His fourth album, Lightning Strikes and Neon Nights, was released on April 28, 2023. Nominated at the AIR Awards in 2022, Swift won the Male Artist of the Year prize at the 2023 Country Music Awards, before being nominated in the same category in 2024. On October 17, 2025 was released his fifth full-length, Lucky Stars.
