Biography

Ayano Ahane (亜波根綾乃), born 6 January 1981 in Japan, is a Japanese J‑pop singer‑songwriter whose career began in the mid‑1990s. She first entered the industry with the single "大きな風" released on 23 October 1996, followed by "がんばれ 私!/自己紹介" and "がんばれ 私!" on 26 February 1997, establishing her presence in the pop scene. Her debut album A‑ray was issued on 16 July 1997, and she continued to build momentum with the album Lin Nai〜Fine Art Museum〜 on 9 September 1998, the EP affettuoso on 17 March 1999, and the album Re・Birth on 22 September 1999, concluding the decade with the compilation ベストセレクション on 22 December 1999. Throughout this period, Ayano Ahane released a series of singles-including "プリズム" (22 October 1997), "Lucky Goes On! -しあわせがゆく-" (25 February 1998), "心の地図" (22 April 1998), "遥かなわたしたちへ〜eternal ribbon in the air〜" (29 July 1998), "小さな勇気" (5 August 1998), "warmth" (5 November 1998), "All my life / 生きる足音" (25 March 1999), and "My home" (25 August 1999). In 2005, the single "コス∞ヒット!LOVE♡ EDコレクション" was released, marking her last known commercial activity.
