Bigfumi is a Japanese male singer-songwriter, born on January 12, 1993 in Miyazaki, Miyazaki Prefecture. His real name is Fumiya Okawachi. He grew up in a musical family and made his first live appearance as a frontliner in his father's band when he was in junior high school. In high school, he was a wrestler and was recommended to go on to university, but failed. Determined to live on the path of music, he dropped out of college and began performing in earnest in 2014. He started with street live performances and became well known when he was selected as a finalist in the "V3 Newcomer Audition" by Fukuoka KBC in March 2015, releasing his first EP "Oto Fuzoku Sha" in 2016. 2017 saw the release of his first album "Itadakimasu." In 2021, they will release their debut indie single "Tsunagete Ike", a song for supporting rugby players, and "Giant Killing", a song written for Takashi Inui, a soccer player, which has had a great impact on the sports world. In 2023, they made their major label debut with their first album "Bigfumi 1", followed by the distribution singles "Taiyo no Yo Yo na Hito ni I Wanna Be" and "Soredemo Ikite Ikunta". In March 2024, they released the single "WE RISE UP" and in July 2024, "Namae no Naki Ai no Uta".
