Axel Boman, born in 1979, is a Swedish DJ and producer. He graduated from Valand School of Fine Arts in 2010. Alex Boman's breakthrough came with the release of his EP Holy Love on Pampa Records in 2010, which featured the hit track "Purple Drank" and propelled him into the house music scene. Following this success, he embarked on extensive tours and created remixes for artists such as John Talabot and Harald Bjork. Alex Boman has also been part of the label Studio Barnhus. His debut album Family Vacation, released in 2013, was inspired by his German cousin Julius Drescher. He formed Talaboman with Spanish DJ John Talabot, which released the album The Night Land in 2017. Following the release of the single "1979", Axel Boman recorded the albums Le New Life in 2019 and LUZ / Quest for Life in 2022. In 2026, he released the EP From Riches to Rags, which reached number 36 on the UK Vinyl Singles Chart.
