Born in New York on February 19, 1999, Audrey Hobert is an American author, composer and singer, and the sister of musician Malcolm Todd. Graduating from New York University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, she began her career in the industry as a script production assistant at Warner Bros. She became head writer for the sitcom The Really Loud House, broadcast on Nickelodeon from 2022 to 2024. She then began writing songs with her close friend Gracie Abrams, whom she met in elementary school. She co-wrote several tracks on the album The Secret of Us (2024), including the international hit "That's So True", which stayed at the top of the UK charts for eight weeks. She also contributes backing vocals and directs some of the album's videos. Thanks to this collaboration, she signed a publishing contract with Universal Music Group and wrote songs for other artists, including "Start All Over" for Alessi Rose. In 2025, she went solo with the release of three singles between May and July: "Sue Me", which reached no. 39 in the Radio Pop Songs charts (no. 13 in New Zealand and no. 58 in Ireland), followed by "Bowling Alley" and "Wet Hair". On August 15 of the same year, her debut album Who's the Clown? was released.
