Biography
Arallu is an Israeli extreme metal band founded by Moti âButcheredâ Daniel who began the project as a solo endeavor after performing live with Melechesh. The debut studio album The War on the Wailing Wall (1999) introduced a highâspeed drum machine and set the bandâs blackâmetal foundation, followed by Satanic War in Jerusalem (2002) which featured a Slayer cover and guest drummer Nir Nakav. Subsequent releases such as The Demon from the Ancient World (2005), Desert Battles â Descending to the Sands (2009), Geniewar (2015), Six (2017), and En Olam (2019) expanded the groupâs lineup and incorporated oriental and thrash elements. The band toured Europe, opening for Mayhem, Behemoth, and Enslaved, and released the DVD The Ultimate War (2010).
