Anton Schwartz, born July 16, 1967, in New York City, is an American jazz saxophonist and composer. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from Harvard University in 1989 and initially pursued computer science at Stanford University before becoming a full-time musician. His debut album, When Music Calls, was released in 1998 under his own label Antonjazz. Subsequent releases include The Slow Lane (2000), Holiday Time (2004), and Radiant Blue (2006), which featured Peter Bernstein on guitar and Taylor Eigsti on piano, reaching number four on the U.S. jazz radio charts. Schwartz has performed at notable venues such as Yoshi's and Boston Symphony Hall, with performances broadcast nationally on NPR's JazzSet.
