Biography
Antaeus, a French black metal band formed in 1993, initially started as a side project with vocalist MkM and guitarist Greg Piat. The group's early recordings were rudimentary, but they gained underground attention with their first demo Supremacist Dawn in 1996. Antaeus released their debut album Cut Your Flesh and Worship Satan in 2000, followed by De Principii Evangelikum in 2002 under Osmose Productions. Their album Blood Libels was released in 2006 via Norma Evangelium Diaboli label. After a period of semi-inactivity, Antaeus returned with the album Condemnation in November 2016. The band's lineup has seen numerous changes over the years, with MkM and guitarist Set being the most consistent members.
