Anne Hull, also known as Ann Boleyn, born on June 14, 1960, in Seattle, Washington, was an American musician and singer. She started playing keyboard in the early 1970s and formed the heavy metal band Hellion in 1981 or 1982 with guitarist Ray Schenck, bassist Peyton Tuthill, and drummer Sean Kelley. The group released several albums under various labels, including Music For Nations in England and Roadrunner Records in Europe. Their mini album was voted number 4 record of the year in 1984 by Kerrang and Sounds Magazine. In 1986, Ann Boleyn was fired from Hellion and replaced with a male singer. She retained the name Hellion and formed New Renaissance Records, which helped develop the careers of bands such as Sepultura and Bathory.
