Angel Forrest, born Angel Gareth Forrest on March 11, 1967, in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, is a Canadian singer-songwriter and producer. She began her musical career in 1988 with the album Secondhand Blues, which featured several classic blues tracks and immediately garnered critical acclaim. Her breakthrough came with the live album Angel Sings Janis Live, a tribute to Janis Joplin, released in 1997. Forrest's first original album, Here for You (2005), sold over 30,000 copies and was followed by notable releases such as Mother Tongue Blues (2013) and Angel's 11 (2016). Her live album Electric Love (2018) topped charts worldwide. Forrest has been a frequent winner at the Maple Blues Awards, receiving the Female Vocalist of the Year award eight times between 2013 and 2020.
